Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington has been an Greek American columnist, author and businesswoman for over 20 years. She's the co-founder and CEO of Thrive Global, as well as the author of fifteen books. Arianna Huffington has been a TV host, journalist, philanthropist and author for over ten years. She also is the owner of The Huffington Post, an free-of-cost online news magazine. Born in Greece and relocated to England at the age of sixteen. In Cambridge University, she graduated with a MA in Economics. At 21 she became president of the famed debate club The Cambridge Union' and was the first non-native student to do so. A conservative syndicated blogger following her graduation, she went on to become the voice of Huffington Post. It was her celebrity that helped to attract several prominent contributors to share their views on current events political, culture and politics. Arianna became famous in 2003, when she ran as an independent in the California recall elections in order to replace Governor Davis. The project she headed was the Detroit energy-efficient vehicle project. In 2009 she was named by Forbes as The most influential women in the media, achieving 12th position in the listing and the following year, the Guardian listed her on the top 100 list of media. AOL Inc. bought The Huffington Post in 2011 and appointed her head of its media division and also included several other AOL brands like Engadget AOL Music Style list and Patch Media. Elli Stasinopoulos is a daughter of Konstantinos the manager's advisor as well as a journalist. Her character was formed by her closeness to her mother, and the bond she shared with her father despite being extremely close to him. Through her early years, she exhibited abilities to lead, and for this are still prominently known. When she was in her 16th year she travelled to England to study and enrolled at Girton College Cambridge. During her college days she was a member of the college debate society Cambridge Union where she became the first foreign president and was also the third female president. In 1972 she graduated with a master's degree in Economics. Following after graduation she was a critic columnist and television host. The appearance she made in Face the music with Bernard Levin was also notable. She began to write books with his guidance for editing.
