Anna Paquin, a Canadian-New Zealander actress. Born in Winnipeg and was raised in Wellington Paquin has made her acting debut portraying Flora McGrath in the romantic drama film The Piano for which she was awarded the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress aged 11 years old, making her the second-youngest winner at the age of 11 in Oscar history. Canadian actress and New Zealander who, when she was a young girl earned her first Academy Award in 1993 for being the most effective supporting actress. Paquin had a small part in the role of Jane Eyre's title character while she was still a kid as part of Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre (1996) as well as she was a leading character in the movie Fly Away Home (1996). Paquin played Frankie Addams, a character from Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding in 1997. Also, she played the Queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (2007). She played teenage characters in of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) and portrayed Polexia Aphrodisa girl in Almost Famous (2000).
