Cartwright gets married to Steve Gullion 1976. The couple have two kids. Angela Cartwright's younger sister, Angela Cartwright who was born in England is famous as an actress. As a child Angela was a character on Linda Williams the sweet little step-daughter on The Danny Thomas Show in 1953. The show aired between 1957 and 1964. Her role was later adapted to Julie Andrews' cult movie The Sound of Music, (1965) in the role of Brigitta. After that, Penny Robinson was cast as a teenager astronaut on Lost in Space (1955) which ran for five years between 1965 and 1968. Despite the cheap episodes and sloppy storyline, Lost in Space (1965) remains a cult program today. In 1970 Angela had a part on Make Room for Granddaddy (1970) an update to the series that she had starred in, but the show was soon cancelled. English actress Veronica Cartwright was only 13 years old when she was chosen as the birthday girl Cathy Brenner who narrowly escapes the clutches of fierce fowl in the tiny town in Bodega Bay in Alfred Hitchcock's classic horror film of 1963 The Birds. Bonanza was one of the first television westerns to be broadcast in colour. The film revolved around the Cartwrights, a fictional, family of ranchers who lived close to Virginia City Nevada a real mining town in the mid 1800s. The character of the show was Cartwright's youngest son, who's mother Marie (in the pilot episode ) and her daughter Felicia (in the second Felicia) had been widowed and whose daughter died from illness.
