Emily Bett Rickards (born July 24 in 1992) is a Canadian-born actress. She has played Felicity on The CW Television Series Arrow. Rickards is an British Columbia native. For the purpose of launching her acting career, she started performing in musical theater and dance hoping to later introducing formal acting. She graduated from high school before her schedule and began studying at Vancouver Film School where she received her Acting Essentials Certificate. She attended an audition at an open call after completing the program. The audition was the catalyst for her getting hired with an agent. Alida Vocal Studio is located in Vancouver. Initially signed as a single-episode guest star, her chemistry with the show's main character Stephen Amell coupled with positive reactions from fans as well as her funny quips earned her first signing as a co-star on recurring basis for all of the remaining episodes of the season. Then she was signed as a regular co-star in the following season.
