
Jessica Michelle Chastain was born on the 24th of March, 1977. She is an American producer, actress, and model. She is well-known for her roles in films that feature feminist themes. She has won a variety of awards such as an Academy Award, and a Golden Globe Award. Time magazine listed her as one of the 100 most influential persons in the world in 2012. Chastain was an actor with a passion at an early age. She made her stage debut in the role of Shakespeare's Juliet in 1998. She was a student at the Juilliard School and was then signed to a contract for talent-holding with John Wells, a television producer. She was a frequent guest star on numerous television shows and was a part of several stage productions. Chastain made her film debut in Jolene (2008) at the age of 31. She continued to release six films in 2011 which included The Tree of Life (2011) and Take Shelter (2011). She earned Academy Award nominations for playing an aspirational socialite in the period drama The Help (2011) and a CIA analyst in the action thriller Zero Dark Thirty (2012). The science-fiction films Interstellar (2014) & The Martian (2015) were commercially more successful than the horror film It Chapter Two (2019). Chastain was also praised for her performance as strong-willed females in the dramas The Most violent Year (2014), Miss Sloane (2016) and Molly's Game (2017), and the miniseries for television Scenes from a Marriage (2021). In the biopic The Eyes of Tammy Faye (1921), she played Tammy Faye Bakker. She received the Academy Award as Best Actress. Tammy Wynette was the miniseries George & Tammy (222).
